RoME

R code to perform multiple checks on MEDITS Survey data

RoME allows to perform multiple checks on MEDITS survey data. The last updated release is 1.4.

To run the checks, please follow the next steps:

  • Download RoME 1.4 zip package;
  • The zip package has to be extracted directly from the R console. Open the R console (version 2.15.3 of R is suggested);
  • Click on Packages -> Install package(s) form local zip files… and choose RoME 1.4 zip file;
  • Type on R console require(RoME);
  • Type RoME() to run the ckecks.

RoMEBS

RoMEBS allows to perform multiple checks on MEDITS-like survey data. The last updated release is 1.1.

To run the checks, please follow the next steps:

  • Download RoMEBS_1.1 zip package;
  • The zip package has to be extracted directly from the R console. Open the R console (version 3.6.0 of R is suggested);
  • Click on Packages -> Install package(s) form local zip files… and choose RoMEBS_1.1 zip file;
  • Type on R console require(RoMEBS);
  • Type RoMEBS() to run the ckecks.

MEDITS: R package for the analysis of MEDITS-like survey data

MEDITS is an R package containing a set of functions working with survey data in the format of the MEDITS project. In this version, functions use TA, TB and TC tables respectively containing haul, catch and aggregated biological data. The package is available for download at the R CRAN repository.

SECFISH: R package to disaggregate variable costs

These functions were developed within SECFISH project (Strengthening regional cooperation in the area of fisheries data collection-Socio-economic data collection for fisheries, aquaculture and the processing industry at EU level). They are aimed at identifying correlations between costs and transversal variables by metier using individual vessel data and for disaggregating variable costs from fleet segment to metier level. The package is available for download at the R CRAN repository.
